We are thrilled to open applications for the newly created BPW Europe Project Award, a recognition programme celebrating the most inspiring and impactful initiatives across our network.

WHAT IS THE AWARD?

The BPW Europe Project Award shines a spotlight on projects that empower women, raise BPW’s profile, and advance gender equality. Winners receive a €500 financial award, official recognition by BPW Europe, and a platform to present their work at the Presidents’ Meeting and across BPW Europe’s communication channels.

The BPW Europe Project Award 2026 celebrates the creativity, dedication and commitment of BPW clubs and federations working to empower women, strengthen BPW’s visibility and advance gender equality.

This inaugural edition has brought together 29 project submissions from 13 European countries, reflecting the diversity, innovation and collective strength of our European network. Behind every project is a story of determination, collaboration and a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference.

We are delighted to introduce the projects submitted for the BPW Europe Project Award 2026. Through this special Project Showcase, we invite members, partners and visitors to discover the initiatives being undertaken by BPW clubs and federations across Europe (listed below). Each project offers a unique perspective on addressing challenges, creating opportunities and driving positive change for women. The submissions reflect three key areas:

Women’s Economic Empowerment

Initiatives supporting women’s financial independence, entrepreneurship, leadership and professional development.

BPW Visibility

Creative projects that strengthen BPW’s public presence, expand engagement and promote our mission within local and international communities.

Advocacy

Initiatives addressing gender equality, influencing policy, raising awareness and encouraging meaningful institutional and societal change.

Recognising Commitment and Impact

The BPW Europe Project Award is more than a recognition programme. It is an opportunity to give visibility to the important work taking place throughout our network and to encourage greater collaboration between clubs and federations. All submitted projects contribute to a growing collection of ideas, experiences and initiatives that can inspire future action. The submissions are being reviewed through the award’s evaluation process, with winning projects to receive official recognition and the awards outlined in the programme.
