8th Mediterranean Symposium
BPW Cyprus is once again organising the Mediterranean Symposium!
The 8th BPW Mediterranean Symposium is fast approaching, and they are eagerly looking forward to welcoming all of our members to Nicosia from November 20th to 22nd. This year, they are thrilled to delve into a highly relevant and critical theme: “Mediterranean Horizons 2026: Empowering Women in the Era of Digital & Green Transition.”
In an ever-evolving global landscape, understanding and navigating the intricate interplay between technological innovation, environmental sustainability, and leadership is paramount. This symposium offers a unique platform to explore these dynamics, challenge existing paradigms, and collectively envision a more equitable and prosperous future.
We are particularly excited to announce three engaging panel discussions that will form the core of our conversations:
• Panel 1: The Digital Architect
“At the Center of Transformation: Shaping AI, Security, and Inclusion”
Explore the leadership mandate of the digital age: leveraging AI as a force multiplier while architecting robust cybersecurity frameworks. This session focuses on integrating predictive technologies into business models and ensuring innovation remains inclusive, bridging the gender gap to build a secure, equitable technological future.
• Panel 2: The Green Catalyst
“From Intention to Impact: Scaling the Green Transition & Circular Economy”
Moving beyond sustainability as a concept, this panel addresses the shift toward regenerative circular systems. Leaders will discuss scaling eco-friendly transitions across supply chains, replacing “Take-Make-Waste” models with circular loops that align financial investment with long-term environmental stewardship.
• Panel 3: The Mediterranean Pragmatist
“Leading Through Complexity: Resilience, Stability, and the Mediterranean Reality”
Navigating a region in flux requires a blend of strategic foresight and grounded realism. This session examines leadership tactics for maintaining organizational resilience amidst geopolitical volatility, focusing on cross-border cooperation and pragmatic strategies that drive stability within the unique socio-political realities of the Mediterranean.
